This section of the site will be done soon but in the meantime here is the short version...
The people who make money from the city attend city council "hearings" to urge for MORE street cleaning, thus the city makes more money from tickets and has more money to pay its contractors. We've urged the City's Streets Department to implement alternate methods of "street cleaning technology" (yes, there really is such a thing). These alternate methods would GREATLY reduce the need for citizens to move their vehicles, but nobody returned our many many many many many many many phone calls after the information was presented to them ... So we contacted the City Controller with information on how to conduct a Performance Audit of the city's current Street Cleaning Methods so they could compare it to this new "street cleaning technology" and have scientific data to draw from in figuring out what is best for the city ... but guess what happened? ... Yup ... no reply. (What a shocker) Stay tuned ... A lot more information is coming soon. |
